Necromunda: Hit man looks like a 40K Ashamed, launches this summer
Necromunda: Hired Gun, a new Warhammer 40K FPS from Focus Domestic Interactive and Streum Along Studio, has suddenly appeared happening the Windows Store with a vent scheduled for June 1st, 2021.
Tarnished by Idle Sloth on Chitter, Leased Gun is a "fast-paced" FPS kick in the depths of Necromunda, the same leather-red-coated, mohawk-sporting 40K destination that housed last yr's Underhive Wars. In Hired Gun, you're taking on the role of a lone amplitude hunter, pitted against the brawny gangers and hair-metal warrior women of the Hive Urban center's depths.
It doesn't look look-alike you'ray quite alone, mind. Your hunter has a pet cyber-tag, scaled up and ready to chew off limbs. The listing describes a pun with "endless" weapon and augment customisation, levelling upwardly, and a grappling hook (always good), lending a bit of a Discredited feeling to the game.
One screenshot even shows our character quick to hurtle some kind of dead bum at their enemies. None hygiene in the grim darkness of the far future, and so.
A DLC listing for the Hunter's Bounty pack sheds a littler more light on the pun. Different outfits hint you'll exist competent to pick male or female leads (perhaps even customisable), and you'll be able to give your heel a chew-toy with to make them a more efficient sea wolf.
Streum Happening Studio has a bit of 40K pedigree, having antecedently worked along achingly mediocre Space Hulk Deathwing. But if you pick out the name, IT's probably because of E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy, a bizarre cyberpunk FPS that managed to comprise the most Warhammer courageous to never inviolable the license.
